Damoh, the program of Shastra Pujan is a symbol of our tradition, it is a festival of worship of Shakti, all our gods and goddesses give blessings and they also have a weapon in their hands, which tells that if you do wrong, you will also be punished. This was said by the State Minister of Culture, Tourism, Religious Trust and Endowments (Independent Charge) Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi after the Shastra Pujan organized in the Police Line today. During the worship, Superintendent of Police Somvanshi sacrificed a pumpkin in front of the mother. On this occasion, MP Rahul Singh, former Finance Minister and MLA Damoh Jayant Kumar Malaiya, MLA Hata Umadevi Khatik, Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar, Superintendent of Police Shrutkirti Somvanshi, Additional SP Sandeep Mishra, Raman Khatri were specially present.
Minister of State Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, while extending his best wishes to everyone for the Shastra Poojan program and Dussehra, said that this tradition of Dussehra has been going on since a long time, on this day all the people take out the weapons from their houses and worship them, today this tradition has been carried out here.

Damoh MP Rahul Singh Lodhi said that both Shastra and Shastra are needed. He said that I congratulate the Chief Minister of the state Dr. Mohan Yadav, on his new initiative, today this event has been organized to worship the weapons by the public representatives along with the government officials and the police. Former Finance Minister and Damoh MLA Jayant Kumar Malaiya said that Shastra Pooja is organized every year on the day of Vijayadashami in the Police Line. In this way, I am seeing this program for the first time that when the Superintendent of Police has called all the public representatives, administrative officers and all the people here, a proper puja havan has been done here. He congratulated the people of the district on the occasion of Dussehra.
Hata MLA Uma Devi Khatik said that the weapon worship that has been done here has a lot of importance in our Indian culture, in view of this, I congratulate the Chief Minister for the initiative he has taken and wish everyone a very happy Dussehra.
Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar said that a very unique program has been organized, for this I congratulate the police administration of the district. Today, the weapon worship program has been held under the direction of the Chief Minister and on the initiative of the Superintendent of Police, it has been very unique in the sense that all the public representatives have participated today. He completed the entire weapon worship with due rituals. There was also a celebratory firing here, this entire worship was completed in a very good atmosphere. He said that both weapons and scriptures have importance in our culture, I pray to God that we all get the wisdom and intelligence to use both weapons and scriptures correctly and appropriately so that we can work in the interest of more and more people. On this auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami and Navratri festival, many congratulations to everyone and I thank the police administration that they organized a very beautiful and well-organized weapon worship and we all got the privilege of participating in this program.

Superintendent of Police Shrutkirti Somvanshi said that the program of weapon worship has been traditionally celebrated in the police department on Vijayadashami, it is a very old tradition that on the day of Vijayadashami, we worship our weapons, also pray to God for their care.
