Shahdol, Santosh Kumar Udde, posted on the post of TI in Anuppur district of divisional headquarters, has committed suicide by hanging himself. Santosh Kumar was transferred from Anuppur district to Seoni in a transfer order issued yesterday on Monday. Before this, Santosh Kumar was posted as station in-charge in Manpur police station of Umaria district.

According to the information received, Inspector Santosh Kumar Udde has committed suicide by hanging himself in Anuppur, although the reason behind this has not been revealed yet. After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and sent the body to the hospital for post mortem. It was told that the circumstances under which Santosh Kumar took this suicidal step would be clear only after police investigation.

Inspector Santosh Kumar Udde has been posted in Umaria district for a long time, he has served as police station in-charge of Chandia and Manpur. A few days before this, he was transferred to Anuppur district, whereas in the transfer list released by the police department on Monday, Santosh Kumar was also transferred from Anuppur to Seoni.
