Shahdol, Commissioner Shahdol Division BS Jamod has instructed the officials of the medical department to take strict action against fake doctors in Shahdol Division. The Commissioner has instructed that fake doctors are treating people in rural and urban areas and are collecting fees from people arbitrarily. The Commissioner has said that strict action should be taken against all such fake doctors. The Commissioner has instructed all the Chief Medical and Health Officers to list the names of all such fake doctors and take action.

The Commissioner has instructed all the Chief Medical and Health Officers that they should also attend these special camps to end the practice of Dagna from time to time and make people aware to end the practice of Dagna. Commissioner Shahdol Division BS Jamod gave the above instructions to the officials of Health Department and Women and Child Development Department in the review meeting of development works today. In the meeting, the Commissioner instructed all the Chief Medical and Health Officers of Shahdol Division that they and their field staff should work with alertness, keep a special eye on seasonal diseases occurring in the rainy season and on receiving news of vomiting and diarrhea in rural areas, immediately send health teams to such areas and provide the best possible treatment to the affected people. In the meeting, the Commissioner reviewed the animal vaccination program district wise and said that the work of animal vaccination in Shahdol Division should be completed by July 31. It should be ensured that all vaccines are administered to the animals in Shahdol Division. The Commissioner has instructed the field veterinarians to keep a constant watch on the diseases occurring to the livestock during the rainy season. In the meeting, the Commissioner reviewed the fertilizer seed distribution program district-wise and directed the officials to take strict action against those selling fake fertilizer seeds and substandard fertilizer seeds in Shahdol division. The Commissioner has instructed that on receiving complaints from farmers about fake fertilizer seeds, take the complaint of the farmers very seriously and take strict action against those selling fake fertilizer seeds as per rules. In the meeting, the Commissioner also reviewed the power distribution system, Janman Yojana, plantation program and the works of the cooperative department.
