Sexual abuse case against Vrishin Patel
Victim accused former minister of threatening, said- pressure is being made to manage the case

Muzaffarpur, former minister Vrishin Patel is accused of raping a minor girl. A girl from Muzaffarpur has accused the former minister of sexually abusing her continuously for two years. This case is going on in the court of Muzaffarpur. In this case, the court had recently issued a warrant against Vrishin Patel. Now new information is coming out in this case. The victim girl has accused Vrishin Patel of threatening her.
In fact, in the year 2023, a minor girl had filed a complaint in the special POCSO court of Muzaffarpur. In which the former minister was accused of taking her to Patna and raping and physically abusing her. The victim alleges that Vrishin Patel had been physically abusing her for two consecutive years. The special court has taken cognizance of the girl's complaint and started hearing. Recently, the court of Muzaffarpur had issued a warrant against former minister Vrishin Patel.
After the court issued a warrant against former minister Vrishin Patel, accused of sexual exploitation, now the victim girl has accused him of threatening her. The victim alleges that the former minister is pressurizing her to manage the case and is threatening her with dire consequences if she does not agree. Regarding this, the victim's lawyer Richa Smriti has filed an application in Special POCSO Court-2.
Richa told in the application that some government employees reached the victim's house in Kudhni and pressured her to manage the case. During this, the victim was threatened. On Friday, the victim's application was heard in the Special POCSO Court. The victim's lawyer Richa Smriti alleged that the police is also unnecessarily interfering in the case.
