Kurukshetra, International social service organization Seva Trust UK India is doing many works of public cooperation in the whole of North India. On Tuesday also, Seva Trust UK India took an effective and commendable step to prevent dengue in Kurukshetra district. Under the leadership of Seva Trust UK India's trustee Vivek Sharma and district coordinator Pawan Mittal, Dabur Platifort tablets worth Rs. 50 lakh were distributed in public interest to District Ayurvedic Officer Kurukshetra and Vice Chancellor of Ayush University Prof. Vaidya Kartar Singh Dhiman. Vivek Sharma and District Coordinator Pawan Mittal of Seva Trust said that this Ayurvedic medicine distributed with the support of Dabur India Limited helps in increasing the platelet count of the body, strengthening immunity and improving blood health. It contains medicinal elements like papaya, Kalmegh, and Giloy. Which are considered useful in viral diseases like dengue. District media in-charge of Seva Trust Vijay Panghal and block coordinator Rajesh Sain said that Platifort tablets are helpful in increasing the number of platelets. It strengthens the immune system and is beneficial for liver health. It is helpful in improving digestion and reducing swelling. Yogesh Garg and Akshit Jain of the organization said that in view of the weather conditions and the possibility of dengue, a public awareness campaign has also been run in the district under this initiative. In which citizens were informed about prevention of dengue, cleanliness and Ayurvedic measures. Vice Chancellor of Ayush University Kurukshetra Prof. Vaidya Kartar Singh Dhiman, Registrar Prof. Vaidya Brijendra Singh Tomar, Medical Superintendent of the hospital Prof. Vaidya Rajendra Singh Chaudhary and District Ayurvedic Officer Kurukshetra said that public participation is necessary for the prevention of dengue and through Ayurvedic treatment we can find an effective solution to it by increasing immunity. This effort of Seva Trust UK India is an example of shared responsibility of the district administration, AYUSH department and social organizations, which is a commendable step towards public health.
