Anuppur, Anuppur: When a young man suffering from a disease died during treatment at Sanjeevani Hospital located in district headquarters Anuppur on Friday evening, the family members accused the doctor of wrong treatment leading to the death of the young man and demanded action on which the Kotwali police kept the body of the deceased in the district hospital late night and on Saturday morning, in the presence of the family members, Panchnama proceedings were done and investigation was started by getting the PM done by a team of doctors. According to the information received regarding the incident, 19-year-old youth Sumit Kewat, son of Ramprasad Kewat, resident of Amgawa village under Jaithari police station, who had gone to Hyderabad with his friends 15 days ago in search of work, came back home on the night of 26th September and slept at night. On the morning of 27th September, when his health suddenly deteriorated, his family members brought him to Sanjivni Hospital operated in district headquarters Anuppur for treatment. When the youth died late in the evening during treatment, the family members accused the doctor of the hospital of causing the death of the youth due to wrong treatment and demanded investigation and action against the doctor and the hospital. On getting information about the incident, Kotwali police station Anuppur inspector Arvind Jain reached Sanjivni Hospital late at night with the police team and discussed with the family members of the deceased and the doctors and staff of the hospital. After getting information about the incident, the body of the deceased was brought to District Hospital Anuppur late at night for PM and other proceedings. The body was kept safely in the body freezer of PM ward. And on Saturday morning, in the presence of the family members, the Panchnama of the dead body of the deceased was done by the doctor team of the district hospital. The investigation was conducted while conducting the PM proceedings. During this, the police inspector Arvind Jain said that the police is seriously investigating every important point and whatever facts are found in the investigation, impartial action will be taken soon on that basis.
