Shajapur. The villagers of Semli Chacha village of the district have decided to boycott the voting to be held on May 13. Even on Sunday, the villagers took out a rally in the village. A few days ago, the team that had come to get disabled and elderly voters to vote also had to return empty handed.

The villagers are demanding a high level investigation into the arrest of four youths of the village who have been made accused in the murder of a soldier. Even before this, the villagers had submitted a memorandum to the Collector and other officials demanding a high-level inquiry and had said that until a high-level inquiry is not conducted, they would not vote in any type of election. This was the reason why the team that had come to collect votes of disabled and elderly voters had to return empty handed. The villagers have also decided to boycott the fourth phase of voting on May 13. For this, the villagers took out a rally in the village, in which a large number of villagers were present.
