Anuppur, MOU signing program concluded under the chairmanship of Director Personnel Shri Biranchi Das. Giving impetus to the efforts to ensure better health facilities in Koyalanchal under CSR, 'Project Dhadak' was started today. Under this, screening, diagnosis and surgical care will be provided to children with congenital heart defects from SECL's project affected areas. For this, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between SECL and Sri Sathya Sai Health and Education Trust, Raipur at the headquarters Bilaspur today.

Under the project, children with congenital heart defects identified from SECL's coal mine affected areas (Raigarh, Korba, Bilaspur, Korea, Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur, Surajpur, Balrampur, Surguja of Chhattisgarh and Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria of Madhya Pradesh) will be provided necessary medical care and surgical treatment at Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Mother and Child Hospital, Raipur. This initiative reflects SECL's commitment to address serious health challenges and improve the quality of life of the common man.

The MoU was signed by Shri Alok Kumar, General Manager (Civil/CSR), CSR Department, SECL Headquarters and Shri Jagdish Rao, Trust Officer, Sri Sathya Sai Health and Education Trust in the presence of Shri Biranchi Das, Director (Personnel), SECL, at a function organized for this purpose.

SECL has been carrying out various developmental works for Koyalanchal under CSR. Project Dhadak will prove to be an important initiative in this direction.
