SDM's car going to CM Yogi's meeting overturned
Many employees including SDM were injured in the accident, the car was damaged
Saharanpur (Bargaon), The official vehicle of SDM Rampur Maniharan Manvendra Singh, who was going to Bargaon for the meeting of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, overturned after colliding with a car near village Mundikhedi. SDM and his staff were injured in the accident. The villagers gathered at the spot somehow pulled the injured out of the vehicle. After this, everyone including the SDM was admitted to the district hospital for treatment. The accident occurred on the Saharanpur-Bargaon road near village Mundikhedi of Rampur Maniharan police station area at around 11 am on Friday. According to eyewitnesses, the car that suddenly came on the road from the village collided with the SDM's official vehicle. After the accident, the car driver fled from the spot along with the vehicle. However, the bumper of his car and other items broke and fell on the road. Meanwhile, after the SDM's car met with an accident, the police reached the spot and conducted an investigation. Police station in-charge Inspector Narendra Sharma said that the absconding driver is being searched. District Magistrate and District Election Officer Dr. Dinesh Chandra said that Deputy District Magistrate and ARO Manvendra Singh was going to his duty place in Rampur Maniharan assembly constituency to complete government work. His car suddenly overturned and an incident took place in Mundikhedi village on Hasanpur-Bargaon road due to which the car got damaged. He said that along with the Deputy District Magistrate, other employees also suffered minor injuries. Those who have been given first aid and all are healthy, there are no other health related problems. District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra said that no one was seriously injured, although the vehicle was damaged. He said that SDM Rampur will soon recover and return to work.
