Patna, 3 students died on 27th July at Rao IAS Coaching Center located in Old Rajendra Nagar, Delhi due to poor coaching arrangements and negligence. This incident happened due to sudden rain water filling in the basement of the coaching center. The deceased included 2 girl students and a boy student. All three were identified as 25-year-old Tanya Soni from Telangana, Shreya from Ambedkar Nagar, UP and Navin Dalvin, a student from Kerala. After which 5 people including the coaching owner have been arrested so far.

This incident has caused a lot of anger among the students. Students are continuously protesting and asking the coaching people that till when will this kind of negligence be seen. After the incident in Delhi, today the coaching centers running in Langartoli, Machhuatoli, Musallahpur and Bhikhna Pahadi areas of Patna were inspected. Patna's coaching centres were inspected under the leadership of Patna SDM Khandekar Shrikant Kundlik.
The team of Patna district administration conducted a joint investigation campaign with the police administration and fire force under the leadership of Sub-Divisional Officer Patna in many coaching institutes of Mussallampur Haat, the coaching hub of Patna. During the joint investigation of the centres of Guru Rehman and other coaching operators by the police, district administration and fire brigade, negligence regarding security was seen. Hundreds of students were arranged to sit in a small room. Safety and fire safety standards were ignored.
The team of the district administration will survey all the coaching centres within 15 days and submit the investigation report to the Patna DM. The owners of the coaching centres showing negligence will be ordered to close the centres. The officer inspecting the coaching institutes said that a survey of the coaching institutes running in Machhuatoli, Langartoli, Bhikhna Pahadi and Mussallahpur Ahara of Patna has been done. In which it has come to light that many coaching institutes are not even registered. Many coaching institutes are running without registration. Action will be taken against all of them under the Coaching Act. In many coaching institutes, the entry and exit gates have been found to be the same. All these things will be placed before the Patna DM. If there is violation of building bylaws or not, investigation will be done by issuing notice through the Municipal Corporation. During inspection, many irregularities are being found in coaching institutes, a report of which will be prepared. The officer said that the Patna DM has formed a team to survey the coaching institutes running in Patna. We have been asked for a report from all the coaching institutes within fifteen days. As much as possible, we will survey as many coaching institutes in 15 days. A list of registered and unregistered coaching institutes is being prepared. Soon action will be taken against the owners of coaching institutes running without registration.
