Shahdol, Sub-Divisional Revenue Officer, Sohagpur, Mrs. Amrita Garg inspected the Government Girls' Protection Home, Shahdol. During the inspection, the Sub-Divisional Revenue Officer inquired about the facilities and arrangements provided to the girls at the home.

District Program Officer for Women and Child Development, Mr. Akhilesh Mishra, stated that the Government Girls' Protection Home, Shahdol, is one of the childcare institutions operating in the district, admitting girls involved in legal disputes as per the orders of the Juvenile Justice Board.
Instructions have been received to conduct a safety audit for the safety of the girls residing at the institution. In compliance with this, the District Collector has formed a six-member investigation team headed by the Sub-Divisional Revenue Officer to conduct a safety audit of the institution.
