Private school buses in Katni district are carrying children from home to school and from school to home every day. To make these bus operators aware of traffic rules and regulations, the district police force and traffic police force are constantly visiting roads and schools and telling the bus drivers to follow traffic rules and send the children safely to their homes. In this connection, today many private school buses were called to the SP office and a list of traffic rules and emergency numbers was pasted inside and outside the bus.

Katni SP Abhijeet Ranjan said that school children are the future of this country India and to protect them, the police and the district administration are constantly taking some initiative or the other. In this connection today many school buses were called to the SP office and the school children travelling in the buses were made aware of the traffic rules and regulations. For the safety of the school children, the police administration pasted pamphlets regarding traffic rules along with a list of traffic helpline numbers, inside and outside the buses. The Superintendent of Police and the traffic police staff also distributed roses and toffees to the children and after distributing rose toffees to the children, the school children were explained about safety and the children were told that if the bus driver is driving the vehicle fast or if any accident occurs on the road, then they should inform the traffic department about it.
