Saharanpur. The new Uttar Pradesh BJP State President and Union Minister of State for Finance, Pankaj Chaudhary, has ended the long-standing impasse over the BJP District President position in Saharanpur district, appointing young Rajput leader Ajit Singh Rana as the new President, in accordance with the demands of the district's public representatives and workers.

Congratulating the new President, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Industrial Development and a veteran BJP leader from Saharanpur, Jaswant Saini, assured full support. He said today that State President Pankaj Chaudhary has taken a commendable step by making the appointment in accordance with the workers' sentiments. Ajit Singh's appointment as District President will inject new strength and energy into the organization. For a long time, the Rajput community had been upset over their neglect, which resulted in the BJP losing all three Lok Sabha seats in the Saharanpur division in the Lok Sabha elections.
Thakur Manveer Singh Pundir, who served as the most successful and popular district president from 2012 to 2016, expressed his joy at the new appointment. He expressed hope that Ajit Singh Rana would strengthen the organization by bringing together all workers and further strengthen coordination and relationships among all public representatives. Prior to Ajit Singh Rana, Mahendra Saini of Deoband served as the BJP district president for a record six years and four months.
The newly appointed BJP district president, Ajit Singh Rana, was congratulated by Minister of State Jaswant Saini, outgoing BJP district president Mahendra Saini, District Panchayat President Mangeram Chaudhary, MLA Mukesh Chaudhary, former MPs Raghav Lakhanpal Sharma and Pradeep Chaudhary, MLA Kirat Singh, former Minister of State Sanjay Garg, former MLA Naresh Saini, former Bajrang Dal provincial president Vikas Tyagi, and hundreds of prominent BJP leaders and workers, and expressed gratitude to the BJP high command. Significantly, Ajit Singh Rana enjoyed strong support from both BJP workers and the Sangh. On his appointment, Ajit Singh Rana said that he will focus on strengthening the organization and will take full care of the dignity and interests of the workers.
