Kyiv. At least 23 people have been killed in a Russian missile attack on a car market in the southern region of Ukraine. According to a report by the news agency Reuters, many people have come under the grip of a massive explosion caused by a Russian missile falling on a car market located on the edge of the city of Zaporizhzhya, in which 23 people have been confirmed dead so far. The attack was so powerful that a pit several feet deep was formed on the concrete road and the missile hit the car windows due to the impact of the attack.

Giving information about the incident, the regional governor of Zaporizhia, Alexander Starukh, said that so far, 23 people have been reported dead and about 28 injured have been hospitalized. Colonel Sergei Uzrumov, head of the Explosive Disposal Unit of the Zaporizhzhya Police Department, said the car market was targeted by three S-300 missiles. He told reporters at the scene that most of those killed were in their cars or standing next to them. However, Vladimir Rogov, an official of the Russian-established administration in Zaporizhzhya, blamed Ukrainian forces for the missile strike.
