Maihar, Road Safety Week was inaugurated on Monday with Safety Resolution at UltraTech Cement Plant in Sarla Nagar. Road safety is a matter of concern in the present times. In the last few years, there has been an increase in road accident cases. The government has also taken some important steps by becoming active in this regard. This week is celebrated to increase awareness among people and promote responsible driving. The objective of this week-long program is to give priority to road safety measures among people and reduce road accident cases.
Increasing road accidents are worrying-
The chief guest of the program, CSP Rajiv Pathak, referring to the bus accident that took place on the highway a few days ago, said that safety rules should be strictly followed while driving on the road. Driving should always be done keeping in mind that others can also make mistakes. Referring to Pushpak Viman, Shri Pathak said that there is a mention of following the rules in the scriptures as well. Unit head Bijneshwar Mohanty, who was presiding over the program, said that everyone should follow the rules of safe driving and traffic. Security and admin head Praveen Negi said that road accidents can be prevented by human awareness. Our life is based on practice, in which we can prevent accidents with alertness and effort. Logistics head Thalraj Singh highlighted the importance of road safety. He said that your tomorrow should be safe, so take a pledge to follow safety rules today itself. Mines head Pratyendra Upadhyay in his address emphasized on following traffic rules and inspired the drivers to keep all the rules of road safety in their habits.
