Shimla, Himachal Pradesh has got some relief from the heat. It has rained in two districts of the state. The weather took a turn in Shimla and Mandi districts on Monday evening and there were showers of relief. However, Himachal Pradesh will not get relief from the heat in the coming days.
According to the information, a continuous increase in temperature is being recorded in Himachal as well. In the current season, the temperature is making new records every day. In view of the heat wave, the Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert in the state. According to the Meteorological Center, at present, the conditions for rain are not being created in the state. Therefore, the heat of the mountains is likely to increase further.
Meteorologist Sandeep Kumar Sharma at Shimla Meteorological Center said that the weather is clear in the state as well as the country. In such a situation, an increase in temperature is also being recorded. He said that yesterday was the hottest day of this season. Sandeep Sharma said that a western disturbance became active in Himachal Pradesh in the past, but remained ineffective. He said that the weather will remain clear in the state in the coming days. In such a situation, there is a possibility of heat wave in the mid-altitude and lower areas of the state. The Meteorological Center has also issued this alert. Sandeep Kumar Sharma said that the weather is likely to remain clear in the state till May 26. Hence, the temperature will also increase by two to three degrees continuously.
Rain in Shimla and Mandi
In Himachal's Mandi district, it rained for some time on Monday evening in Dharampur, Mandi city and other areas. Similarly, it rained in Matiyana and surrounding areas of Shimla. The maximum temperature in Shimla has reached close to 30 degrees.

The maximum temperature in Sundernagar was recorded at 40.3 degrees Celsius on Sunday, while after the year 2019, the mercury of the region has crossed 40 degrees in 2024. The temperature of Shimla and Dharamshala is higher this time than in 2022.
