Girdawari Kisan App can be downloaded from Google Play Store on Android based mobile. After downloading the app, farmers will first have to select village and Khasra for registration, in which only Khasra linked to Aadhaar can be added in the registration. On agreeing with the area, crop and crop variety mentioned in Khasra, OTP based verification will be done with the farmer's Aadhaar number and the farmer's mobile number, Aadhaar number and bank account number will be entered. At the time of registration through Girdawari Kisan App, the farmer's bank pass book (first page containing bank account details) will have to be scanned and uploaded. For registration, farmers need a self-attested photocopy of any one of the documents like Khasra or Forest Rights Patta etc. No separate certification from the Revenue Department is required. The facility of registration of sikmidhari farmers and forest lease holder farmers will be available only at the committee level. The forest officer will have to provide a copy of the forest lease and sikmi contract to the lessee/sikmidar farmers. For registration, only one bank account of the farmer is sufficient, there is no need for another bank account.
If any farmer does not get registered by the deadline of March 10, 2024, he will be deprived of the benefits of government procurement and other schemes.
