Dr. G.S. Parihar, Regional Director of Health and Medical Education for Shahdol, Shahdol, and Rewa Divisions, inspected the District Hospital, Anuppur, to review the health services.

During the inspection, he reviewed the health facilities available at the hospital, medicine distribution, cleanliness, patient services, and necessary arrangements.

The Regional Director of Health directed the hospital management and health staff, stating that providing better and quality health services to patients is a top priority.

He directed them to promptly address the deficiencies identified in the hospital and complete the necessary corrective work within the stipulated timeframe.

During the inspection, he directed them to ensure regular cleanliness in health institutions, availability of essential medicines, sensitive treatment of patients, and continuous monitoring of health services.

He said that no negligence in health services will be tolerated and the department is constantly striving to provide better medical facilities to the general public.

He reviewed health programs such as testing for anemia, providing all medicines keeping in mind seasonal diseases, special check-ups for pregnant mothers, regular vaccination of children, etc. and gave necessary guidelines. He also discussed with the patients and obtained information regarding the facilities being provided by the district hospital.

Chief Medical and Health Officer Anuppur Dr. Alka Tiwari and other health officers were present during the inspection.
