Meeting of the inquiry committee of the Legislative Council regarding commercialization of education concluded

Saharanpur, the meeting of the inquiry committee of the Legislative Council regarding commercialization of education was held in the Circuit House auditorium under the chairmanship of Chairman Dr. Manvendra Pratap Singh 'Guru Ji'.
The Chairman said that whatever information is provided before the committee should be true and factual. He directed that along with the works of priority of the government, routine works should also be done regularly. Information should also be provided about the level at which the fees being charged by various educational institutions have been determined. All arrangements should be implemented in a transparent manner. There should be no corruption anywhere in education. Caution money should be used as per the prescribed standard. He directed that it should be ensured that the level of education is provided in the schools which are recognized at whatever level. Dr. Manvendra Pratap Singh directed that the BSA and DIOS of Saharanpur and Shamli districts should give in writing that no application related to recognition is pending in their districts. ARTO Saharanpur and Shamli were summoned to Lucknow with complete information for not providing satisfactory information about the registration of vehicles operated in schools. He directed that public representatives should be invited to the meeting of the District School Vehicle Committee. He directed the Minority Welfare Officer Saharanpur and Shamli to constitute an investigation committee and determine the points and inspect the madrasas with the permission of the District Magistrate and provide the report to the committee within two months. The Hon'ble Chairman directed that the honorarium of those who cook food in the kitchen under the Mid Day Meal in primary schools should be ensured before Holi. The District Basic Education Officer should inspect the schools and ensure cleanliness and other arrangements. While taking information about the fees charged in colleges, he directed that an inspection should be conducted every 6 months to check whether the prescribed fees are being charged. In relation to school vehicles which are more than 15 years old, instructions were given that these vehicles should not run in schools from the new session. BSA and DIS of both the districts were instructed to provide the list of essential medicines in the first aid box installed in the schools to the CMO. CMO should provide medicines to the schools within a week. Principal Government Medical College was instructed to make such arrangements in the medical college that the calls of public representatives are picked up immediately and positive response is received. He instructed the officials to read the RTE Act thoroughly and implement it seriously in the district. In this regard, provide a detailed report of the applications received and the admitted children within a month. District Magistrate Manish Bansal presented the prescribed points before the committee and gave detailed information.
