Rapper Badshah made it clear on Wednesday that he has not committed any traffic violation. Two days ago, there were reports that Badshah has been fined Rs 15,000 for driving on the wrong side and playing songs at high volume. The rapper made it clear that neither was he driving the car that day nor does he have a Thar. In a story on Badshah's Instagram, he said, 'Brother, neither do I have a Thar nor was I driving the car that day. I was going in a white Vellfire car and I always drive responsibly.' Badshah gave a surprise performance at singer-songwriter Karan Kaujla's concert in Gurugram on December 15.

Thar is registered in the name of Deependra Malik
The viral video showed a Mahindra Thar in Badshah's convoy driving at high speed on the wrong side of the road amid heavy traffic. Later, news agency PTI reported that the Thar is registered in the name of Deependra Malik, a resident of Panipat. Soon after the incident, Badshah's team dismissed the allegations and called it 'outrageous'.

What did Badshah's team say
The statement issued by the team said, 'We are issuing this statement for the recent reports and false allegations about a traffic incident involving Badshah after Karan Aujla's concert in the Delhi-NCR region on December 15, 2024. These reports allege that Badshah was involved in traffic violations. We want to make it clear that this allegation is completely false.' According to news agency ANI, the team further said that 'no fine was imposed' on any vehicle associated with the rapper and his team.
