Guna, A sensational case of love jihad has come to light in Guna city. The victim alleged that the accused youth first befriended her on internet media by hiding his real identity. After this, he raped her by threatening her and made an obscene video. He started sexually exploiting her by blackmailing her. The youth also beat her up and pressured her to change her religion. After receiving the complaint, the Kotwali police have registered a case under some other sections including rape, assault and started investigation. In the complaint lodged in Kotwali police station, the girl told that about two years ago she had befriended a youth named Bhayyu on Instagram. After this, both of them started talking. The girl alleges that the youth had taken some of her photos during the meeting. After this, he started harassing and blackmailing her. The complainant says that she is basically a resident of a village. Her younger brother is a student and her mother is a housewife. Her father's health is not good. Hence, she takes a house on rent in Guna city and works in a private institution to run the family. When the youth came to know that she lives in a rented house, he reached her house about a year ago and raped her after blackmailing her. The second time, he also made obscene videos. He used to snatch the girl's mobile and put his and the girl's photos on the status by writing 'My Husband' so that he could defame her and the people of the society could see that she is with a Muslim youth.

Beating after identity was revealed

The girl said that when she saw the youth's second ID, in which the name Arshad was written, then she came to know that the youth was a Muslim. On this, the girl asked the reason for lying and started staying away from him. On this, the youth was continuously harassing her for about three months. He used to reach her workplace and beat her. 4-5 days ago, he created a ruckus at night and beat her. During this time, fellow employees helped the girl and advised her to complain to the police. After this, a case was registered against the youth at 11 pm on Saturday night with the help of Hindu organizations. The youth himself lives on rent in Jinghar area and does welding work. He has also been accused of pressurizing for religious conversion.
