India is going to get the country's first Vande Metro train on Monday today. PM Modi will inaugurate the second phase of the metro rail service connecting Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar and will also ride the metro train. Before this, a big decision has been taken by the Railways regarding Vande Metro. Railways has changed the name of Vande Metro. Now it will be known as 'Namo Bharat Rapid Rail'.

What will be the schedule and fare?

According to Western Railway officials, the Ahmedabad-Bhuj Vande Metro train (now Namo Bharat Rapid Rail) will stop at nine stations and cover a distance of 360 km in five hours and 45 minutes at a maximum speed of 110 kmph. Officials had said that it will depart from Bhuj at 5:05 am and reach Ahmedabad Junction at 10:50 am. Its regular service for passengers will start from Ahmedabad from September 17 and the fare per passenger for the entire journey will be Rs 455.

More than a thousand passengers will be able to sit
Giving a comprehensive description of the Vande Metro train and other metros operating in the country, the ministry said that the Vande Metro runs at a maximum speed of 110 km per hour. It said that its advantage is that it will complete the journey quickly and improve efficiency. It said that the Vande Metro train has been equipped with advanced safety systems like anti-collision 'Kavach'. The Railway Ministry said that the Vande Metro train will have 12 coaches, which will have a seating capacity of 1,150 passengers.

How to get tickets?
According to the information given by the Railways, Vande Metro (now Namo Bharat Rapid Rail) has been equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. This train is completely unreserved and air-conditioned. Passengers will be able to buy tickets from the counter shortly before the departure of the train. This train has been designed on the lines of the indigenous semi-high-speed train Vande Bharat.
