Merta Road, Jodhpur Railway Division: Under the Swachhta Pakhwada being celebrated from 1st October to 15th October, “Say No to Single Use Plastic” campaign was launched at the divisional stations. It is worth mentioning that people are being made aware about cleanliness by promoting seminars etc. on the subject of cleanliness in different establishments at different stations of Indian Railways.

Under the Swachhta Pakhwada being run under the direction of Divisional Railway Manager Pankaj Kumar Singh, “Say No to Single Use Plastic” campaign was launched at all the stations of Jodhpur Division on Monday. Under this campaign, the maintenance/work of plastic bottle shopping machines was reviewed and an awareness campaign was launched for the prohibition of single use plastic, and with the help of Muskaan NGO, the ill effects of using plastic were told and a rally was organized. People were made aware about how we can keep the environment clean by not using plastic.
