Anuppur, Kotma police raided the hideout of Balmiki Pathak and seized cash and betting slips from 7 bookies,,,, today on 5 September 24, information was received from an informer that Balmiki Pathak is cutting betting slips with his associates in his house, to verify the information, raids were conducted at the mentioned place. Vijay Namdev father Ramu Prasad age 46 years resident of Kotma, Manoj Kumar father Babulal Singh age 55 years resident of Kotma, Nakul Vishwakarma father Babunna Vishwakarma age 40 years resident of Bageha Tola, Hira Lal Chaudhary father Shiv Prasad age 40 years resident of Bageha Tola, Lala Sharma father Ramsharan Sharma age 25 years resident of Kotma, Hamid father Rajendra Tripathi age 36 years resident of Khodri No. 01, and Kamlesh father Chhote Lal Kewat age 46 years resident of Pathraudi were found at the spot, and
Balmiki Pathak was caught escaping from the back door Kamyal, from whom total cash of Rs. 5645/-, Satta slips, dot pens were seized. On interrogating the said accused, they told that all of them were working for Balmiki Pathak, resident of Kotma, on his instructions. Separate crimes have been registered against all the said accused under section 4A Satta Act and 61 BNS. In each case, a crime has been registered against Balmiki Pathak and the investigation has been taken up. 19 crimes of Satta are already registered against Balmiki Pathak in Kotma police station since the year 2015. In all the cases, a fine has also been imposed by the honourable court. The accused is a habitual offender.
In the said action, Kotma police station in-charge Inspector Sundresh Singh, Akbar Khan, Kapil Uikey, Sanjeev Tripathi, R. Chakradhar, R. Dharmendra Jatav, M.R. Pinky Prajapati, Kanchan Chauhan, R. Dinesh played a special role.
