Anuppur, questions being raised on the prescribed standards and poor quality road construction work?
Bargawan Amalai. The beautification road is being done by laying paver block bricks on the PWD road built from Hanuman temple complex to Bapu Chowk of Nagar Parishad Bargawan Amalai. The road construction work which is to be built from ward number 1 to ward number 5 and 4 till Bapu Chowk has been ensured as per the tender. In the construction work of this road, lighting has also been arranged by installing electric poles on both the sides, in which despite the Deputy Engineer Urban Administration putting a stop on such quality-less road construction work by the public representatives of the Nagar Parishad a few days ago due to the negligence and irregularity being done during the construction work, the reason for repetition of irregularities in the road construction work after about 10 days of the complaint and what is the secret behind the silence of any public representative of the Nagar Parishad regarding the activities and construction work of the road contractor at present, is a matter of concern and a puzzle because the rules and proposed work systems under which the work has been ensured to be done during the road construction work, are absolutely illegal. It is not happening and there is a smell of corruption and cheating in the name of development of the area by the contractor arbitrarily on the road approved for crores of rupees as per his wish without any opposition, this is a matter of investigation. Who is protecting the work of road construction given to the contractor by the Urban Administration Department through online tendering and the whitewashing done by him in the construction work, who is hiding his eyes even after seeing the poor quality road construction in front of his eyes, who is this road contractor. In this way, by investigating the poor quality road construction work on the ground and investigating the work not being done as per the prescribed parameters of the construction work, no one is able to solve the puzzle of collusion between the concerned department and a public representative.
