Anuppur, After the gas leak in the Soda Caustic Unit, a subsidiary of Orient Paper Mill operating on the border of Anuppur and Shahdol districts, there have been different reactions and complaints among the local people.

Even on the day of gas leak, he displayed his wisdom and alertness and discharged his responsibilities well, at the time when the gas leaked from the soda caustic unit, the production manager was at his private residence with his family. Despite this, immediately after getting information about the incident, he reached the factory and himself took necessary steps to prevent the gas leakage and also informed the senior officials about the incident. The employees present were also immediately instructed to sound the siren installed in the company.

A big accident was averted due to the promptness and understanding of the production manager:
If the production manager had not shown promptness and promptness during the gas leak in the caustic soda unit, serious incidents could have occurred. Such possibilities can never be ruled out.
