Damoh, today in the Collector's office, citizens from all over the district presented their problems in the public hearing before Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar, during which, while hearing 22 repeat applications and 294 applications in the general public hearing, the Collector directed the concerned officials to resolve them within the time limit.
Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar said that at that time the minister was leaving for the next program, then we all were at the gate and there were many applicants. Today a very large number of people came, so it seemed more appropriate to listen to them at the gate itself, so the public hearing was held there. The Union Minister of State for Agriculture was coming, I had to go to welcome him, so then I left from there.
The collector said that many times it happens that we are not able to listen to the people who are serving and retired government employees along with others and they work day and night for us. We felt that we should also listen to these people, so when the general public hearing ends at 4 pm, which ends around 4 to 4:30, after that we have given time for these people, that all the people who come, whether they are pensioners, employees in service, from any department, they can come and put forward their point, then we will try to solve their problems as soon as possible.
During the public hearing, 11 Aadhar cards, 25 Ayushman cards, 23 PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, and health checkup of 277 persons were done.
