People hurriedly admitted both of them to a private hospital for treatment, where property dealer Javed was declared dead by the doctors. The condition of the other injured person remains critical.

The accused absconded after the incident

After committing the crime, the criminals fled waving their weapons. After receiving the information, DSP and Mithanpura police reached the spot and investigated. Nearby CCTVs were scanned. Police took the body into custody and sent it to SKMCH for postmortem. According to the information, property dealer Mohammad Javed, a resident of Mithanpura police station area, was drinking tea with his friend Raju Shah near the district school. Meanwhile, criminals riding a bike reached there and started firing indiscriminately. Javed has been hit by four bullets, while Raju has been hit by two bullets.

Local people took them to the hospital

Property dealer Javed died during treatment here. At the same time, Raju Shah's condition remains critical. After receiving the information, DSP reached the spot with the team and recovered several shells from the spot. Injured Rajesh Shah said that we were drinking tea with Javed near the district school. City DSP Seema Devi said that two people have been shot by unknown criminals. Property dealer Javed died during treatment, while the other is undergoing treatment. Javed has a house in Malighat.
