Saharanpur. As per the instructions of District Magistrate Manish Bansal, Additional District Magistrate Dr. Archana Dwivedi informed that the Combined State / Senior Subordinate Service Preliminary Examination will be conducted in the district on Sunday, 22 December 2024, in two sessions, first session from 09:30 am to 11:30 am and second session from 02:30 pm to 04:30 pm. The examination will be conducted at 26 examination centers in the district, out of which 18 examination centers have a capacity of 480 and 8 examination centers have a capacity of 384. Dr. Archana Dwivedi informed that a total of 11712 candidates will participate in the examination, in which women will participate from outside the district and men from outside the board. For the convenience of the candidates, ARM Roadways has been directed to operate additional buses. Apart from this, ARTO Enforcement has been directed by the administration to make additional arrangements for tempos, autos etc. to take and bring the candidates from the railway station and bus stand to the examination centers. He told that all the examination centers are within the radius of 15 km from the district treasury. 01-01 sector magistrate and 01-01 static magistrate have been deployed at each examination center, a total of 26 sector magistrates and 26 static magistrates have been deployed.
The Additional District Magistrate told that 26 center administrators, 26 assistant internal center administrators and 26 external assistant center administrators have been appointed and briefed at the examination centers. In view of the cold weather, the administration has made arrangements for bonfires at bus stands, railway stations and other identified places for the convenience of the participating candidates. Hotels, lodges, Gurudwaras, Sangh offices and Dharamshalas etc. are being arranged at cheap rates for the candidates to stay. In case a candidate falls ill at the examination centres, medical and paramedical staff have been deployed at the examination centres. The entire examination centre is under CCTV surveillance. From the entrance gate to all the rooms, all are under CCTV surveillance, whose direct feedback is being taken by the Hon'ble Commission itself. Dr. Archana Dwivedi said that in order to ensure that the examination is conducted safely, smoothly, fairly and without cheating, the Hon'ble Commission, apart from the agency, administration and local police will keep a strict watch so that no one can use unfair means.
