Damoh, Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Sarojini James Beck said that on June 27, under the Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan, health checkup, examination and proper treatment services of high risk pregnant women identified at community and institution level will be provided by experts in all community health centers including District Hospital, Civil Hospital Hata, and Urban Primary Health Center Jatashankar (Bidi Colony). Services will be provided to the identified risk pregnant women by Gynecologist Skill Skill MO. A list of women at risk coming for health checkup has been prepared in all these institutions. The concerned have also been informed by the ASHA worker of the area to avail free health services in the special health checkup clinic.

It is to be noted that on 9th and 25th of every month, special clinics are organized in health institutions under EPMSMA for health checkup, examination and proper treatment of identified risk pregnant women. Due to the three day Pulse Polio campaign being conducted from 23rd to 25th, EPMSMA clinics are being organised today on 27th June.
