Saharanpur, Police team of Kotwali Dehat police station of Saharanpur district has succeeded in arresting one of the accused while revealing the Abdul Wahid murder case today. Battery of the deceased's e-rickshaw, clothes/Aadhar card and bank pass book recovered from the possession/point of the arrested accused. According to the information received, Police Station Dehat Kotwali in-charge Chandrasen Saini of Saharanpur district, with the help of his police team, has revealed the Abdul Wahid murder case and arrested Shajeeb alias Shahjeeb, who carried out the murder, from the culvert of Dhamola river near village Madh after a lot of effort. SP City Abhimanyu Manglik has revealed the said murder case in front of journalists today. Let us tell you that a few months ago, an e-rickshaw driver was strangled to death with a towel. Police station in-charge Chandrasen Saini, with the help of his police team, today disclosed the said murder case and arrested Shajeeb alias Shahjeeb, who carried out the murder. On the information given by the arrested murder accused, the battery of the deceased's e-rickshaw, Aadhar card, bank passbook and the used warm clothes of the deceased have been recovered. Let us tell you that Smt. Gulshana, a resident of village Dudhli Bukhara, had reached Police Station Dehat Kotwali in December 2023 and lodged an FIR about the disappearance of her husband Abdul Wahid. On the basis of the report, the police searched for Abdul Wahid but he was not found. While in January 2024, Abdul Wahid's body was recovered from a garden near village Madh, the police also remained engaged in solving the mystery of this murder, but the police did not get any clue of the killers. Inspector Chandrasen Saini received information today that the main accused of this murder case is hiding near the culvert of Dhamola river located near village Madh. Inspector Chandrasen Saini immediately reached near Dhamola river with his team's senior sub-inspector Sunil Kumar, head constable Vivek Kumar, Kapil Rana and constable Amit Kumar. When the said murderer saw the police team, he started running towards Dhamola culvert. The police team chased him and surrounded the murderer from all sides at Dhamola culvert and caught him. When the police strictly interrogated the arrested murder accused Shajeeb alias Shahjeeb son of Suleman resident of village Rasulpur, he revealed the Abdul Wahid murder case. He told that after making him drink alcohol, with the help of one of his companions who is in jail, he killed Abdul Wahid by strangulating him with a towel and fled after throwing the body in a garden near village Madh.
