Satna, Hundreds of illegal mahua liquor distilleries have been operating as liquor factories in Ward No. 5 of Chitrakoot Nagar Parishad, village Losaria, for a long time, which was complained about by local people from time to time, but the police did not take satisfactory action, due to which, disappointed, the local people of Lohasariha village had informed the senior officers of the police administration by making a written complaint along with photo videos a few days ago. Finally, after the demand of the villagers, the police administration took action, but this action was only 50 percent. Even now, many distilleries in village Losaria are being operated by liquor kingpins. Local people, on the condition of anonymity, told that a former councilor of the village has a major role behind the illegal liquor distilleries running in village Losaria. His own family is playing this big game by colluding with the local police personnel and paying them monthly ban money. It is worth mentioning here that the way in which intoxicating pills, urea and poisonous herbs are being used to make liquor intoxicating in Losaria, and that liquor is being sold openly in the streets and alleys of the villages of Chitrakoot. This can lead to painful incidents like Bihar some day, in which hundreds of people can lose their lives. Therefore, the administration should ensure that Chitrakoot is not defamed in the country and before any major incident or calamity occurs, the illegal liquor factories should be completely closed. Anyway, the holy religious city has been closed by the Madhya Pradesh government. There is a ban on the sale and manufacture of liquor, meat and liquor in Chitrakoot, but hundreds of distilleries are operating illegally here and not only this, it is being supplied to the entire area. Villagers of the local village Lohasariha have demanded in writing that these illegal liquor distilleries should be closed by running a campaign. It is also the demand of the local people that the local police administration should not harass the complainants out of irritation and should not implicate them and take action against them. For this, the local villagers have also demanded security.
