New Delhi, PM Modi has inaugurated the Rural India Festival. On this occasion, he said that he has been serving the people of the village since 2014. Let us tell you that the theme of this festival is to build an inclusive rural India for a developed India 2047 and its aim is to appreciate the entrepreneurial spirit and cultural heritage of rural India. PM Modi inaugurated this festival at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

PM Modi wished everyone a happy year 2025. He said that this grand event of Rural India Festival in early 2025 is introducing India's development journey and creating an identity. I congratulate NABARD and other partners for this event.
PM Modi said that clean drinking water is reaching every house in millions of villages. Today, people are getting better options of health services in more than 1.5 lakh Ayushman Arogya Mandirs. With the help of digital technology, we have also connected the best doctors and hospitals of the country to the villages. We have taken advantage of telemedicine. Crores of people in rural areas have taken advantage of telemedicine through e-Sanjivani. At the time of Covid, the world was wondering how the villages of India would deal with this epidemic? But we delivered the vaccine to the last person in every village.
PM Modi said that for the strengthening of the rural economy, it is necessary that economic policies should be made keeping in mind every section of the village. We are proud that our government has made policies and taken decisions for every section of the village. Just 2 days ago, the Cabinet has given permission to continue the PM Crop Insurance Scheme for one more year.
