Saharanpur, District Magistrate Manish Bansal chaired a meeting of the District Task Force regarding preparations for the successful implementation of the Plus Polio campaign starting from 8 December in the new auditorium located in the Collectorate.
District Magistrate Manish Bansal instructed all the officers to play an active role for the successful implementation of the National Pulse Polio Vaccination Campaign to be held on 8 December. He instructed to ensure 100% coverage of children by going door to door from 09 December to 13 December. Pay special attention to polio vaccination of the identified high-risk areas of the district, brick kilns, construction sites under construction and make special efforts to administer polio medicine to maximum number of children at the polio booth. DM Manish Bansal said that no child should be deprived of vaccination, so 100% vaccination should be done. He directed that the Education Department, Child Development and Nutrition Department and Panchayati Raj Department should establish mutual coordination and ensure that all children are vaccinated. For this, MOIC should prepare a better microplan. He directed that the cooperation of village heads should be taken for the successful implementation of Pulse Polio campaign and active participation in the campaign.
On this occasion, Chief Development Officer Sumit Rajesh Mahajan, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Praveen Kumar, PD DRDA Pranay Krishna, District Immunization Officer Mrs. Pooja Sharma along with all MOIC and related officers were present.
