Planned to rob ATM to repay loan, three accused arrested for attempting robbery Kotwali police arrested three accused who tried to rob ATMs in Damoh and Sagar districts with the help of cyber cell. The special thing about this case is that these accused had learned the skill of breaking ATMs by watching videos on YouTube and after that tried to break ATMs and rob them, but they did not get success even once and they got caught by the police. Tools to vandalize ATMs have also been seized from these accused. A case was registered against all the three accused and they were presented in the court from where all three have been sent to jail. The main accused had planned to rob the ATM to clear his debt, but did not succeed.

Disclosing the matter, Damoh SP Rakesh Kumar Singh said that on the night of December 11, 23, an ATM machine was vandalized near Hirdepur. In that case an offense was registered at Kotwali on 19 Jan 23. The second incident is of Pathariya police station area, where on February 7, 23, an attempt was made to withdraw money by sabotaging a private bank's ATM by cutting it with a gas cutter. There was no information about the accused. After this the help of cyber cell was taken. Cyber cell in-charge Satyendra Singh Rajput collected evidence in this case and on the basis of that reached the accused, after which Bhagwat Patel 24, Umesh Rajak 22, Harnam Patel 27 residents of Makaronia, residents of Sanodha village of Sagar district were arrested one by one.

The SP told that these accused tried to break the ATM on 29 December 2022 at Sanodha in Sagar district, 12 January 2022 in Damoh Kotwali police station area, 12 January 2023 at Sanodha Parsoria police station and 7 January 2023 at Sanjay Chauraha in Patharia. But he did not get success anywhere.
During interrogation, the main accused Bhagwat Patel told that he had a lot of debt, so he wanted to repay the loan by breaking the ATM and withdrawing money. He had learned the trick of breaking ATM and withdrawing money by watching YouTube videos, but he could not succeed. A bike, a wrist watch, electronic cutter and chisel hammer have been seized from the accused.
