Anuppur, Principal and teachers of Government High School Pipariya Anuppur met Superintendent of Police Anuppur Mr. Moti ur Rehman (IPS) in his office and complained about a powerful man Sukhlal Patel selling illegal liquor from his grocery shop near the school. Taking immediate cognizance of the complaint, Superintendent of Police Anuppur directed TI Kotwali and conducted a police raid in village Pipariya and 10 bottles and 27 cans of 20 liters of illegal beer worth Rs 4950 were confiscated from Sukhlal Patel, father Shripal Patel, age about 54 years, resident of Pipariya, kept for sale in his grocery shop and crime number 424/24 section 34 (1) Excise Act was registered and the accused was arrested. Also, the grocery shop of accused Sukhlal Patel from which illegal liquor was being sold has been sealed by the police for investigation.

Superintendent of Police Anuppur Shri Moti Ur Rehman has directed all the police station in-charges of the district to take strict action on information of illegal liquor being sold near any school.
