Unique marriage in Motihari
Motihari, Philippines' Charlene (28) influenced by Indian culture took seven vows with Amrit Sharan, son of Umesh Srivastava, resident of Chintawanpur, Motihari. The marriage was conducted according to Hindu culture in a hotel in the city. Her father Magnolia, mother Romel, grandmother Iunice and her family members had come to Motihari from St. Francis Place Villanvera in America.
The boy's elder brother Pankaj Kumar showed the girl's family to the Gandhi Museum. There, Charlene's family members offered flowers at Bapu's memorial. They said that blessed is this land of Champaran where the people have recorded the name of Champaran in the history of the country and the world. While returning, they expressed their happiness by thanking Vinay Kumar of the museum. They also saw Gandhiji's table in the museum.
