Raipur, in protest against the murder of journalist Mukesh Chandrakar, people of Mahar Samaj held a candle march in the city and demanded justice for Mukesh Chandrakar from the administration. People of Mahar Samaj of Bijapur district took out a candle march in protest against the murder of Mukesh Chandrakar on Sunday night and toured the city and came to Jai Stambh and paid tribute to journalist Mukesh Chandrakar by observing silence.
R.D. Jhadi of Mahar Samaj said that Mukesh Chandrakar has been brutally murdered. He demanded from the administration that the culprits who committed this brutal murder and those involved in it should be given the harshest punishment.
He also demanded justice for Mukesh Chandrakar's family. People of Mahar Samaj raised slogans of Mukesh Chandrakar Amar Rahe, Punish the culprits. As per the post mortem report, there were 15 fractures on the head, a torn heart, 4 pieces of liver, 5 ribs and a broken neck. Such a painful death has been inflicted, such culprits should not be spared.
