Jaipur, With the help of half-centuries from Priyansh Arya and Josh Inglis, Punjab Kings defeated Mumbai Indians by seven wickets in the 69th match of IPL 2025 on Monday.

Mumbai Indians, batting first at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, scored 184 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs, which Punjab Kings achieved by losing three wickets in 18.3 overs.

This was the ninth win in 14 matches in the league stage for Punjab Kings, who reached the playoffs after 11 years. The team finished the league stage in the top-2 of the points table with 19 points. Punjab is now sure to remain in the top-2. The Punjab Kings team will now play Qualifier-1 in Mullanpur, Chandigarh on May 29.

Mumbai Indians have suffered their sixth defeat in 14 matches. The team won eight matches in the league stage and finished the league stage at number four with 16 points. The Mumbai Indians team will play the eliminator match on May 30 in Mullanpur, Chandigarh.

At the same time, Prabhsimran Singh contributed 13 and captain Shreyas Iyer contributed an unbeaten 26 runs.
