The Lokayukta police teams are continuously questioning Saurabh Sharma, a former constable of the Transport Department, along with his associates Sharad Jaiswal and Chetan Singh Gaur. On Thursday, after the medical examination of all three, Saurabh and Sharad were taken to their residence in Arera Colony and Jaipuria School, from where some important documents have been seized. The interrogation so far has revealed that Saurabh and Sharad Jaiswal are partners in about five companies. Both of them together have bought and sold more than 40 properties.

After the initial interrogation of Saurabh Sharma, a fisheries project has been discovered in Rajghat, Uttar Pradesh. He has taken a contract for three years for about Rs 10 crore on a dam here, from where fish is produced and sold. Along with this, a petrol pump named Aviral has also been discovered. Chetan Singh Gaur is said to have a stake in both these properties. Chetan said that his status is not that big, but whatever is on paper will be correct.

Relatives will be questioned

Saurabh told Lokayukta police that he has taken loan on most of the properties. Along with this, he has made relatives invest in his companies. Lokayukta police will issue notice to all such people and summon them for questioning. If relatives are unable to give correct details of their property, action will be taken against them too.

Denied having property in Dubai

During the interrogation by Lokayukta police, the main character Saurabh Sharma said that he has been to Dubai only once. Recently, he went to Dubai with his wife on a fifteen day tour, but returned within seven days on getting information about the raid. However, he has not disclosed where he stayed after returning and who helped him. He said that he does not have any property in Dubai. Police has seized his passport. Sharad and Chetan said that Saurabh Sharma's associates Sharad Jaiswal and Chetan Singh are his employees. However, the Lokayukta police are not believing their statements. Sharad is being questioned separately from the two.
