Panna, the new collector of Panna district and 2010 batch Indian Administrative Service officer Shri Suresh Kumar took charge at the Joint Office Building today evening. Shri Suresh Kumar has been posted for the first time to the post of Collector by the General Administration Department. Outgoing Collector Harjinder Singh has been given the responsibility of Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department. New collector Shri Kumar was working as Secretary in Revenue Board, Gwalior from last 3 November 2022. Born on 27 September 1966, Mr. Kumar is originally a resident of Haryana and has obtained the degrees of MSc and LLB.
After assuming charge, the new Collector got introduced to the officials and got information about the general and geographical situation of the district including the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections. On this occasion, District Panchayat CEO Sangh Priya, Additional Collector Nilambar Mishra, newcomer Panna SDM Sanjay Kumar Nagvanshi and other officials were present.
