Saharanpur, Progressive farmer of Saharanpur and Padma Shri awardee in 2021 Choudhary Sethpal and international Judo referee Deepak Gupta have been nominated as Swachhata Brand Ambassadors by Saharanpur Municipal Corporation to create awareness about cleanliness among people under Swachh Mission Bharat. Choudhary Sethpal was honoured with awards by Indian Council of Agricultural Research in the years 2012, 2014 and 2020. He is considered a strong opponent of burning agricultural residues. While Deepak Gupta is a world-class referee.
