Opposition to 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' proved costly
DPO took major action against teacher Hasan Raza

Patna, Mohammad Hasan Raza, a teacher of Sanjay Gandhi Balika Uchcha Vidyalaya, Vishwaspur in Banka district of Bihar has been suspended on the basis of several serious allegations. These allegations include misbehavior with children, dereliction of duty and insult to national symbols.
According to various complaints, Raza has been found sleeping with children, sleeping on a chair in the classroom, interrupting the singing of the Bihar state song and commenting on saying Bharat Mata Ki Jai. Apart from this, he has also shown indiscipline during the inspection of the school.
District Program Officer Sanjay Kumar Yadav said that there is a lot of evidence against Raza and departmental action has been initiated against him. During the period of suspension, Raza's headquarters will be in the office of Block Education Officer, Chandan.
Investigation is also going on against other teachers in the school. An explanation has also been sought from the in-charge headmaster Rajiv Kumar and former in-charge headmaster Vinay Rai has already been removed. After this action of DPO, there has been an uproar among other teachers.
