Online attendance on App is mandatory for teachers in Bihar from October 1
If attendance is not made, salary will be deducted

Patna, Additional Chief Secretary of Education Department Dr. S Siddharth has issued a warning to teachers who do not make online attendance on e-Shikshakosh application. He has said that from October 1, those who do not make online attendance on the application, their salary will be stopped. In this regard, he has written a letter to all the District Education Officers. It has also been said that all teachers will update the application on September 1. New options have been added to the application for making attendance.
Additional Chief Secretary of Education Department Dr. S Siddharth has said that all teachers will compulsorily update the e-Shikshakosh application from Google Play Store of their Android phone on September 1. Now teachers will get two options to make attendance, in which a new option of school admin has been given. Like before, the headmaster and teachers can make their attendance from their own mobile.
Apart from this, under the new option, the attendance of the headmaster and teacher can be recorded by the school principal through the school admin. After pressing the mark attendance button in order to make attendance, a photo has to be taken from the school premises and uploaded on the application to show attendance in the school premises. If a teacher is on duty outside the school premises, then there is also a provision in attendance for him.
