Shajapur, people across the district welcomed the New Year with great enthusiasm and they remained engaged in worshiping their deity in the temples from morning till evening. Along with this, people celebrated the New Year by having picnics with their families at restaurants, hotels and other places. It is noteworthy that on the last night of December, on the 31st, people across the district were very excited about the arrival of the New Year and due to this enthusiasm, the night of 31st was immersed in preparations for welcoming the New Year. At 12 o'clock in the night, people celebrated the happiness of the New Year in their own style. Also, there was an atmosphere of celebration throughout the day on Wednesday, January 1. On the first day of 2025, some celebrated by going on a picnic, while some started their day with worship. People also enjoyed delicious dishes at the city's restaurants on the occasion of New Year. Along with this, the New Year was greeted with fireworks and sweets. Special preparations were also made in the city's restaurants and hotels for the New Year. Along with special dishes, there was also a provision for entertainment. At the same time, the hotels were decorated with lights and colorful balloons.
New Year welcomed with Havan-Pujan
Everyone celebrated the happiness of the first day of the year 2025 in their own style. On one hand, while there was a crowd in the hotels and restaurants on this day, on the other hand, worship was done from morning to evening in the famous Rajrajeshwari Mata Temple, Mangalnath Mahadev, Khedaapati Hanuman, Balveer Hanuman, Muradpura Hanuman, Omkareshwar Mahadev and other temples of the city with the wish of a happy New Year. Along with this, Mahadev was anointed by the devotees at the Nityananda Ashram located on the local AB Road. People along with their families offered sacrifices in the havan kund and prayed for good wishes.
