Shajapur, Just as Vasudev ji took Lord Shri Krishna from prison to Gokul from Mathura. Similarly, on Janmashtami, the devotees of Mangalnath Temple were left speechless when after 15 days, they again brought Lord Shri Krishna from the Malkhana to the temple. Just like the birth of Shri Krishna, on Janmashtami, the devotee took the idol kept in the prison-like warehouse in the form of Vasudev to Gokul (Mangalnath Temple) and installed the idol.
In fact, on August 24, from the city's famous Maa Rajarajeshwari Mata Temple and Mangalnath Temple, a minor had stolen a gold earring of Maa Rajarajeshwari and a six-inch idol of Lord Krishna with a white metal nugget from Mangalnath Temple. In Kotwali police station, the police had also registered a case against the minor on the report of Shivlal Parihar. The police had also recovered the nose ring and the idol from the accused. After this, police action continued and it took about 15 days to complete all the paperwork and food supply. On Thursday, on Janmashtami, the people of Mangalnath Temple Committee reached the police station and the police completed the necessary proceedings and handed over the idol to the temple committee at exactly 12 noon. As soon as the devotees received the idol of Lord Shri Krishna, their happiness knew no bounds and in the police station itself the devotees started chanting Nand ke Anand Bhayo Jai Kanhaiyalal and took the idol. After this they brought the idol to the temple by vehicle. Where the tableau and mandap were already set up for the Lord. Here everyone worshiped the Lord and established the Lord through rituals.
Lord came out of prison even in Kalyug
In Dwaparyug, Vasudev ji had reached Gokul with Lord Shri Krishna from the prison. The same scene was seen once again in the city and Lord Shri Krishna came out of the prison in Kalyug and reached his abode where the devotees celebrated his arrival and celebrated Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival with great pomp.
Abhishek done with Panchamrit in Kotwali itself
After coming out of the prison, the temple committee members made Lord Shri Krishna sit in the cradle and there they anointed and worshiped him with Panchamrit. After this, he was taken in the vehicle to the temple, where he was seated on the throne as per the rituals and people started chanting the praises of the Lord.
