Saharanpur. While starting the Guru Purnima programs at Mokshayatan International Yogashram, Yoga Guru Swami Bharat Bhushan said that Ekaakshar Brahma Om is the highest mantra of meditation, bliss and peace and said that the pronunciation of Om taught by the Guru in Yoga at different frequencies produces the most suitable sound waves for attaining the highest, natural and depth of meditation, the benefits of which cannot be substituted. This is the reason why today the popularity of this scientific form of Indian Yoga is increasing in countries like China and Pakistan along with Western countries and people there are becoming Indian Yoga teachers by studying Yoga from Mokshayatan Yoga Institute. He told that the pronunciation of Om has the ability to produce the effect of aspirin, a medicine that maintains normal blood flow, and tranquilizer medicine that gives relief to the mind and brain. Along with providing mental peace, this pronunciation is capable of protecting the brain from clots and purifying and strengthening the blood vessels. Regular chanting of Om is very effective in preventing the deterioration of the brain fibers by giving them pleasant exercise and repairing them quickly. Apart from this, Om pronunciation and meditation are very useful in purifying the lungs, heart, snuffboxes and nasal membranes as well as keeping the thyroid gland healthy and balanced.
Yoga Guru Bharat Bhushan told that taking advantage of the Om sound does not harm the religious faith of any practitioner. It is not improper to start yoga practice by saying words like Allah, God, Khuda etc. according to one's beliefs, rather doing so will strengthen one's faith and yoga practice, but these cannot be taken as an alternative to the Omkar sound. My faith is not so weak that it can be broken by saying Allah or God, similarly how can anyone's religious faith be broken by saying Om. Yoga inspires a person of every faith to follow his own religion. Yoga Guru Bharat Bhushan said that it is a proven truth that pronouncing anything other than Om in yoga practice will not be as easy, effective, relaxing and peaceful as Om because the flow and concentration of sound waves is disrupted due to the use of lips and tongue in uttering other words. Yoga is for everyone that is why the universal Om sound was included in it because it is the supreme sound and even a person who does not have a tongue can utter Om, everyone has the right to benefit from it. Adhishthaata NK Sharma told that the main event of Guru Purnima will be held on 21st July from 9 am to 11 am at Mokshayatan Yogashram Headquarters located at Beri Bagh.AV
