Ayodhya, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be present at the consecration ceremony of Shri Ramlala Deity in the newly constructed Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in the religious city of Ayodhya. On Friday, officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust met the Chief Minister and gave him a formal invitation for the consecration ceremony.

After this meeting at the CM residence, Chief Minister Yogi wrote on his social media account, 'Today life has become blessed. The mind is happy. Respected officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, Swami Govinddev Giri Ji Maharaj, Shri Champat Rai Ji and Shri Rajendra Pankaj Ji have invited me for the consecration program of the new child idol of Lord Shri Ramlala Sarkar in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Let us tell you that Shri Gorakshpeeth has been continuously associated with Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mukti Yagya. During the British colonial period, the work of giving voice to the issue of Shri Ram Temple was done by Chief Minister Yogi's grandfather Mahant Digvijaynath Ji Maharaj. After he became Brahmalin, Mahant Avedyanath Ji Maharaj made his Gurudev's resolve his own, after which the decisive struggle for the construction of Shri Ram Temple movement was initiated. In 1984, when Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mukti Yagya Committee was formed at Valmiki Bhawan in Ayodhya, the then Gorakshpeethadhishwar Mahant Avedyanath Ji Maharaj was unanimously elected as the president. Since then, Mahant Shri Avedyanath Ji Maharaj remained the president of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mukti Yagya Committee throughout his life.
