Katni, Nursing Officer Association of Katni district submitted a memorandum to CMHO of District Hospital against the Civil Surgeon and malicious behavior and not drawing salary for the strike period by the government administration. Nursing Officer Association submitted a memorandum to CMHO and demanded that Civil Surgeon of District Medical Katni Dr. Yashwant Verma should not harass mentally and should take appropriate action with normal behavior.
The nurses of the Nursing Officer Association of the district told that on the call of the Nursing Officer Association, all the nursing officers of the state went on a phased strike from 03 July 23 and from 10 July 23 to 15 July 23 regarding the pending 3-point demands. And on 16 July 23, after the assurance of the Honorable Health Minister and Medical Education Minister, the strike was called off and all the nursing staff of the state returned to work on 16 July 23 before noon. But the government administration did not draw the salary for the strike period and instead of 6 days, salary was deducted for 7 days and orders were issued to stop the one-year salary increment of the striking nursing officers with immediate effect. But this behaviour was done with malice only with half of the nursing officers of the district hospital, while the salary of 35 nurses out of the total 103 nurses was not cut and neither their salary hike was stopped and the signatures of all these nurses are not there in the attendance register during the strike period, but the civil surgeon Dr. Yashwant Verma has said that salary will be given to whomever I wish. After that, the budget of NQAS money was given by the government for all the nurses and honor staff, but even from that, half of us nurses were kept away and the benefit of that money was given only to the favorite staff of the sir, out of which some are not working in the district hospital Katni and are on study leave. They have been given amounts ranging from 10 thousand to 5 thousand.
