Shahdol | Byohari, a lover couple was caught by Byohari police today in Chandni Lodge operated in ward number 08 of Byohari city and brought to the police station. Earlier also lover couples have been caught by the police from the said lodge, but due to no concrete action being taken against the operator, the spirits of the operator are high and the residents of the ward have told that a good amount of money is being taken from the lover couples for providing rooms in the lodge and prostitution is being done in the lodge, and the demand for taking action against the lodge operator has been made through news to the police station in-charge Byohari Arun Pandey. According to the information received from sources, the IDs of the lovers who have been caught have a difference, both belong to different castes, despite this, the lodge operator did not inform the police even after knowing the above fact, but in collusion with the lovers, he took a good amount of money from them and provided the room. In the lovers caught today, the boy's name is Mukesh Tiwari and the girlfriend is from Sen community, who were staying in the said lodge since 13/06/2024. Taking action on the information of the woman's husband Shivraj Sen, Byohari police caught the lovers from Chandni Lodge and brought them to the police station.

Police did not take the application, complained to CM Helpline

The woman's husband Shivraj Sen told that for the last two years, Mukesh Tiwari, a resident of Nigri, deceived my wife and had a relationship with her in my absence and in connivance with the operator of Chandni Lodge in Byahari, took a room and kept her in the lodge for several days. I work in Ahmedabad, on getting the news, I had earlier lodged a complaint in Madwas police station. Mukesh Tiwari was living with my wife in a room in Chandni Lodge since 13/06/2024, on getting the information, I went to the lodge and asked the lodge operator whether our wife, whose name is this, is staying here. The operator misbehaved with me and drove me away and said that she is your wife, you know there is no one here, then I went to Byahari police station and gave the information, then the police went to the lodge and picked up both the people and brought them to the police station. An application was given to the police station Byohari for taking action against the operator for his indecent behaviour with me and for keeping my wife secretly in his lodge. The clerk present there read the application and returned it and it was not taken. A complaint has been made on CM helpline number 27574349 and action has been demanded against the lodge operator. The people are also alleging that if someone goes to the police station with a fake complaint, the officers sitting there immediately acknowledge it and if someone goes with a genuine complaint, it is not taken, and various kinds of discussions are going on about it. Only they can tell why the application was not taken.

They say -

I had called you people to present my side. I have given the room after taking the IDs of both the people, they had told that they have done court marriage. I made such a mistake that I did not ask them for the record and gave the room. I also keep doing unpaid work for the police. I vacate the entire lodge on their orders and give it away for free. Let's see how the police will file a case and if news is published against us without a case, we will go to court.

There is a barber woman and a Brahmin man. The woman's husband informed the police and the police came and took both of them away. This is their daily work. They take rooms in this lodge for two to three hours. The lodge owner gives the room in greed for money. Many times complaints were made to the police but no action was taken by the police. The entire locality knows this. The new police station in-charge Arun Pandey has just come. If this comes to his notice, then perhaps he will take some action against the lodge owner.
